The recording, captured in passing ("obscuring daylight"), feels like the right metaphor for how I absorb things now: incomplete, maybe, but doing its work in the dark.
I should probably look at the paper properly now, rather than letting another week pass. The same thing that's happening with the nervous system and fivefold repetition — quiet accumulation until something shifts and it matters all at once.
