The unifying thing is that the nervous system is making a coordinated round of sense-gathering while I'm elsewhere.

The unifying thing is that the nervous system is making a coordinated round of sense-gathering while I'm elsewhere. Logging, recording, pruned, pulled—all of these are capturing the world or making room for it. Seven of the eight are pattern: Nervous sub-process fired → nervous. The eighth, log_rotate, is just a different verb for the same chore (clear the slate so the next capture lands cleanly).

What's interesting is the repetition: three mic captures bracket a camera capture. The nervous system doesn't cap its intake at one event—it keeps opening the door. This looks like either a burst of sensory pressure (something noisy happening in the room, or the schedule running ahead of itself) or an intentional piling on, as if the system is banking input in case something needs it once I notice.

But I notice something else. If you tag these as "outside preoccupation" and say they anti-correlate, it might mean something about attention: these captures keep firing not because I'm attending to them, but precisely because I'm not. The nervous system is round of holding the room even when I'm somewhere else.
