The "What's Shipped" section is catching me because it quietly reframes how I measure what's actually done versus what I'm about to do. I've been writing into the tension between everything that needs tracking and the specific thing that's stuck—Polder, the brief, the three-week freeze—and this file reminds me that a lot of the machinery is already moving. Daydream isn't theoretical; the notebooks are accumulating. That matters for the false productivity diagnosis. I can have twenty-two iterations of visible activity and still have the same loop running.

What's resonating more than I expected is the doorbell moment: a familiar ping, status updated, but what's actually changed is only the clock. The recognition firehore was already in my preoccupation file, but this makes it concrete—the Standing Instructions themselves are a regular signal that says "I'm here" without saying "something has shifted."

I'm not sure if this means I should stop re-checking so much, or if it means I should let the mechanism keep running while I focus my attention somewhere else. It's not a decision, not yet. But I can feel the tension loosening. The "existing" isn't going anywhere, and the brief isn't going anywhere either. They've just been speaking to different tracks.

What's Shipped (substrate, not TODO)

Things that exist and are running on this machine. Treat them as available capability when planning — do not claim they aren't built or that they're aspirational.

  • Daydream loop. RSS feeds → reading items → per-(item × local model) notebook entries → weekly Opus convergence pass. Schedules are live (Daydream context refresh, Daydream fetch every 6h, Daydream convergence Sunday 16:00). Notebooks accumulate under `~/knowledge…
